Jon Gosselin has been dating 22-year-old Hailey Glassman, but now it seems he’s involved with a “mystery” blonde, whose name is Kate Major, reporter for Star magazine and she could be in the market for a husband and babies.

Am I on team Kate?  Pretty much (no, she’s not perfect or without blame).  Although, as I’ve said before, the Gosselin children are the ones who will pay the price.  And Jon Gosselin?  Well, the man’s inner douche is creeping out (yes, I’ve also said that before).  Either that, or the man is very confused.

Jon Gosselin was recently spotted having dinner with Kate Major, senior reporter for Star magazine.  Are they dating?  Just friends?  Is she getting a scoop from Jon?  Who really knows, but now “the new” Kate says she’s hot for Jon.  Um, what do these women see in him?

Jon and Kate Major took a little trip to the Hamptons, and spent time with Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael and Real Housewives of New York City‘s Jill Zarin and her husband Bobby Zarin.

Lohan said Jon and Kate enjoyed each other’s company.  “Absolutely, they’re getting along very well.”  Major said, “I love the 15 minutes of fame I’m experiencing Hamptons.”

Jon said, “I miss my kids.”  Of course he does.  No, really, I believe him.  *Cough*

So, is Jon dating this new Kate?  Did he dump Hailey Glassman?  Michael Lohan said, “They’re friends and they had to get away. Kate actually went to Pennsylvania to do an interview with Jon. I guess they became friends. And then he had to get out, and she had to get out. So they ran together.”  What were they getting away from?

Lohan insists Jon misses his eight kids.  “He talks about them.  He’s on the phone with them all the time.  But unfortunately, as I well know, being a father in a divorce, it’s really hard on the kids.  And you just want to be with them all the time.  But sometimes our exes don’t make it that easy.”  Good job Michael, blame Kate for Jon not spending time with his kids.  I don’t think Kate has kept Jon from his children.

What does Jill Zarin say about the dinner date between Jon and Kate?  Well, according to her, Kate stuck pretty close to Jon throughout the evening.

Zarin said, “He [Jon] didn’t seem smitten. They weren’t all over each other. But they’re definitely dating. It came up in conversation. She had her hands on him. But she’s young. This is a girl who is going to want to have babies. Does he really want to go out with another young girl and have kids?”

Zarin did add, “He seems like a great dad.”

Oh.my.gosh… more kids for Jon Gosselin?  I think that would be a very bad idea.

Perhaps Jon should have taken some time to be by himself after splitting with wife Kate.  He’s clearly in a rebound phase and it may not have a very good turnout!
