Uh Oh, Family Troubles For Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz?
What’s going on with Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz? The couple seem happy, don’t they? They are enjoying parenthood with son Bronx Mowgli, 7-months, Pete is busy with his music and Ashlee will be starting CW’s Melrose Place, this fall. So, what’s the problem?
It seems the couple are on different pages when it comes to more kids. Pete wants another baby right away, but Ashlee doesn’t.
A source said, “Pete wants Ashlee pregnant NOW. He wants a big family. And he’s adamant that the children should be close in age.
“But Ashlee is consumed with making it as a serious actress. Each time Pete brings up the idea of a new baby, Ashlee groans, ‘We just had one!’
“While Ashlee does want more kids, she wants to wait a couple of years. It’s Pete who is getting antsy — and the baby issue is starting to create conflict.”
The insider added, “Ashlee worked hard to slim down and lose the baby weight after Bronx was born in November.
“She thinks another pregnancy now will slow her career momentum.
“And the last thing she wants is to jeopardize this new television gig because of morning sickness and dealing with the physical toll of a pregnancy.”
I say, don’t rush it. Bronx isn’t even a year old, yet, and Ashlee and Pete are young, lots of time for babies later on!
