Janet Jackson: I’ll Be Mom To Michael’s Kids
Has Janet Jackson made a decision about being legal guardian to her late brother’s children? According to sources, Michael Jackson’s three kids, Prince 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7, have said they would love auntie Janet to be their “mommy.” It looks like she may have accepted that role.
According to people close to the Jackson family, Janet has reportedly stepped up and offered to raise Michael’s children, if the kids are comfortable with that.
“I’ll step forward and raise them if this is what they want,” Janet apparently said.
Hattie Kauffman, CBS News national correspondent, spoke with Inside Edition’s Jim Moret, and says that Janet has formed a bond with Michael’s kids.
Moret said, after speaking with a Jackson family friend, Michael’s children are still grieving, but are adjusting to their new lives and are happy to be with relatives.
The guardianship of the Jackson kids has been rescheduled once again, this time for August 3, in Los Angeles.
I really think Janet would be a great mom to the kids. I’m sure their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, has been doing a fine job, but she is almost 80, and caring for children would not be an easy task for a woman of her age. If Janet is up for it, and the kids are wanting it, hopefully the judge will consider it.

She’s at the right age, doesn’t seem to be involved with anything weird, makes enough money not to be interested only on MJ’s fortune. The fact that she just separated from her husband could be a sign of her getting ready to make major changes in her life.
