Jon Gosselin Paid $27,000 For Hailey Glassman’s Ring!

You remember Jon Gosselin, right?  He’s the reality TV guy who is married (but getting divorced) to Kate, and together they have eight children (twins, and sextuplets), but is now dating a 22-year-old?  Remember?  Right, so although there were “engagement” rumors for Jon and Hailey Glassman, they are not about to get married.  However, Jon did buy her a $27,000 ring.  Hey kids, there goes some of your college fund!

With eight kids, I would think it would be difficult to splash out nearly thirty grand for ONE ring for your NEW just-out-of-college girlfriend that you have been dating just a few weeks (unless you’re going to admit you WERE cheating on your wife and you have actually been with your girlfriend for way longer, which would make more sense to shell out that sort of cash for a sparkling bauble, kind of…what a catch 22 that is!). 

Raising children is not cheap (I have four myself), and having eight would be really expensive, but Jon must have some cash stashed away and obviously wanted to put some of that moola towards his future gold digger (maybe) wife?

Hailey had no problem flashing her new ring while she and Jon were vacationing in St. Tropez.  And can’t blame her, right?  If I had a $27,000 ring I’d show it off, too, you know, if I were the gold digger type.

Edouard Nahum, jeweler to the stars, told RadarOnline that Jon did pay $27,000 for the ring.  Edouard’s colleague, Eva Benhamou said, “Jon came into the store and Edouard showed him some of his handmade designs.  He was drawn to the ring immediately. It’s a very special ring.”  Yes, twenty-seven thousand dollars worth of specialness.

However, according to sources, the ring is not an engagement ring, despite it being TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS and Hailey wearing it on her wedding ring finger.

Hey, maybe only some of Jon’s children want to go to college anyway.  You keep spoiling that girlfriend of yours Jon, because we all know she’s dating you for 15 minutes of fame, some shiny goodies, and maybe even a baby so she can keep the cash flowing because she’s found true love.

Too bad Kate has banned her from being around your children.
