New Baby on the Block: Joey McIntyre and Wife Expecting 2nd Child
New Kid on the Block singer Joey McIntyre and his wife Barrett are adding another member to their brood. The couple, who also have a 20-month-old son, Griffin, are expecting another boy in December. “I still can’t get over it,” says the singer, 36. “We feel so blessed.” Looks like McIntyre’s got the right stuff. (Like how I managed to fit in the name of a NKOTB song in there? That’s why they pay me the big bucks.)
Apparently the baby’s already got the couple running in circles, even before he’s born. “My wife actually took the [pregnancy] test but she thought it was negative,” says McIntyre. “She came out and gave me this look like, ‘No.’ Then she showed me the test and I said ‘It’s positive! What the hell?’”
And after being convinced they were having a girl and picking out a name, they were thrown for a loop again when they discovered they were having a boy. “We were shocked,” says McIntyre, though hardly disappointed. “It’s going to be a trip to have a couple of boys around.”
