Jon Gosselin Started Kate & Bodyguard Rumor To Get Out Of His Marriage?
What’s the best way to get out of your marriage and family life and make it appear that it was the other person who wanted out? Tell the world that your wife was having an affair with her bodyguard. That is, apparently, what Jon Gosselin did.
Couples break up all the time. Sometimes it’s both parties wanting out, sometimes it’s just one person who wants out. In the case of Jon and Kate Gosselin, from all outward appearances, it was Jon who wanted out. Kate admitted on their “splitting up” show that she did not want to go that route and I think she, at least at that point, wanted to make her marriage work.
However, according to sources, Jon did not want that and he wanted out for a long time. But that’s not the worst part – he was the one who started the rumors of Kate and her bodyguard, Steve Neild, having an affair!
“Jon wanted a divorce and he also wanted to throw attention away from himself, so he spread that rumor. Jon doesn’t like Steve so he didn’t care about the repercussions.”
So, Jon, who is most likely (reportedly, allegedly, maybe, totally), the one who was actually cheating (based on how quickly he started parading around his new 22-year-old chickie, Hailey Glassman), decides to make himself look like the victim and Kate the bad guy. Nice.
I feel bad for Kate and I feel really bad for their children. Not only do they have to experience their parents divorcing, but they have to do it with the public watching.
I don’t know if Jon actually did this, but if he did, he’s not much of a role model for his kids. He sure doesn’t seem like he’s “there” for his children as he says. He seems more interested in parading around in his Ed Hardy douchebag clothes and nuzzling with his new lust love.

Jon has no business parading his girlfriend around at this point, but it’s also true that Kate knows how to work the media and get sympathy for herself. It seems to me that both parties bear responsibility for the marriage ending, and neither one seems to have their kids’ best interest at heart.
