Morgan Freeman NOT Marrying His Granddaughter
Actor Morgan Freeman was reportedly set to tie the knot with his 27-year-old step-granddaughter, E’Dena Hines, once his divorce from his wife of 25 years, Myrna, was finalized. However, there may not be a wedding after all.
Although there is no blood relation between Freeman and Hines, it is still unsettling to think the two have been in an (alleged) relationship for 10 years – since E’Dena was 17. E’Dena is the granddaughter of Morgan’s first wife and he and his now estranged second wife, Myrna, raised the girl since she was very young.
Freeman’s rep. Dave Falkenstein, has shot down claims he and his granddaughter will marry: “It’s complete garbage. The allegations are 100% made up.”
Seems like a done deal, right? But – the denial doesn’t really clarify, does it? Are they denying the upcoming marriage, but the relationship is real? Or does the denial statement include the wedding and the love affair? I hope for the family’s sake, it’s a denial of it all. I hope Morgan Freeman is a GRANDFATHER to E’Dena and nothing more!

That made her his daughter. Then she had a child – that child is his granddaughter. The “step-” comes into play ONLY if he didn’t adopt the child’s mother, but he did. And then he raised her – his GRANDDAUGHTER – from the time she was a small child. This means he is a pedophile….if all these rumors are true. AND it is INCEST because she is his granddaughter!!

As I have speculated Ina previous blog, E’Dena would have been wittness to a false, sloppy, unfulfilled marriage between her step grandfather and his wife. E’Dena would have known the man was not giving full attention to the woman that he called his wife. E’Dena, also, would have noticed if Myrna was not giving full attention to the man she called her husband. Children are not blind, and stupid. Children know fake people and fake emotions. Therefore, with Morgan Freeman being a full time actor, based on all his movies over the last ten years, he was probably away from home quite a bit. Even if his family is with him on the sets, he can’t give a lot of his time. With that said there will be a brake down in communication in his relationships. If the present wife did agree to an open marriage that is opening the door to allow another women to take her place. If young E’Dena is coming into womanhood then she is in a state of mind where she is aiming to please a man. Since she is young and does not know life or the world then she will offer was she does know, her body, emotions, sympathy, support. For a man as accomplished as Morgan Freeman, E’Dena would be a perfect match. He did not molest her, he did not rape her, because they would have been conscenting adults. The ex-wife to be cannot talk about crossing a line. You can say Myrna created her own misfortune by allowing the young to be raised in the home. Morgan Freeman is a wealthy accomplished famous man. The girl is not his daughter or his grandaughter. He is human, there was no lines crossed, not even with age. One reality chech, however, he may have a hard time container the young girl. Morga Freeman and his soon to be ex-wife put a premium on sex in the marriage. The made it an ultimate act by going outside of the marriage for it. Apples do not fall to far from the tree. They may have passed that mentality on to E’Dena. If Morgan Freeman does not satisfy her often enough, she may stray. With the sexual element considered, that may be the reason a relationship between them could not last. It would also be difficult for him to give her healthy sperm for children.
There are many reasons they could remain a couple and many reasons which could cause a split.

Even though he adopted the girl’s mother as his own, that is still not incest if he had been having an affair with the girl. I think it’s horrifying either way but technically it’s not incest.

I understand there is no biological connection with this lady nor with her mother. If this is true it makes me wonder when did he actually start a relationship other than a grandfather with this woman. If I recall correctly, 17 is still a minor.
