“Tiny & Toya” Star Toya Carter’s Statement About Reginae’s BET Appearance
BET Tiny & Toya reality TV star Antonia “Toya” Carter, has released a statement regarding her and Lil Wayne’s daughter, Reginae, and the BET awards performance that had many parents upset.
Here is Toya’s statement via Bossip.com:
I Antonia ” Toya” Carter have been disturbed……but silent about the recent performance that took place at the BET awards, which including my only child Reginae Carter and her friends joining her father Lil Wayne on stage while he performed his new single, “Every Girl.”
I will be the first to admit that the father and daughter relationship should not have been reunited on stage for any particular reason while this song was being performed. Wayne is a very loving, caring, and devoted father and I truly feel that the act was unintentional due to the fact that he was trying to make his little girl happy by letting her be on stage with her father.
Once again, I do not of any degree think it was a wise decision and I truly do apologize to all that this may offended and most importantly the children that watched this performance. I feel we all have learned a lot from this situation and pray that the viewers will allow these children to move forward with their lives and not held accountable because they are innocent.

cum on now all u hating mothers and father out there i am the proud mother of a nine year old and i want to say what was honestly wrong with the performance of that all i saw was little girl and probably some friends on stage dancing. it wasnt no harm in that or to comment. those to people are great parents and besides i bet it couldnt be no worster than the child that most of you people have already, so get off her back and get your lives together before you start judging others.

Everybody just gotta make things worst than it realy is. Maybe he wanted his daughter to get recognized. Honestly the man wouldnt do anything to hurt his daughter or make her look bad. S.C

The issue was the song, not just that he had her on stage. The song is about wanting to sleep with every girl in world. The song is bad enough by itself, but became more of an issue when he had children on the stage, one of which was his daughter.

I agree completely with for real. The children being on stage wasnt the issue, but having them on stage while rapping a song about screwing every girl in the world is tacky when you have little girls on stage and they dancing to it. Not a wise choice but hopefully he has learned something from this mistake

Comments Sometimes as parents we fuck up and make bad ass decision, however, I personaly don’t think this was such a bad thing. A daughter and stage with her daddy, who is a celeberity, was how I seen it. Not as if we wanted to fuck them damn. Ya’ll leave my baby toya along. Love yo boo!!!!!!!
