Katie Suffered A Miscarriage
Poor Katie. Things are just not going well for the former glamour model. Price (a.k.a. Jordan) and husband Peter Andre have split and it looks like things might get nasty when it comes to custody of their children. Katie also reportedly suffered a miscarriage shortly before the destruction of her marriage.
Katie and Peter had wanted to add a fourth child to their family and were thrilled when they found out they were expecting. However, about 10 weeks into her pregnancy, Katie miscarried.
The former reality TV star said, “Even though we were still bickering and I shouldn’t have gone to America, we were happy because it’s a baby, it’s an amazing thing when you have a baby.” Katie had become pregnant during their 3-month say in Los Angeles earlier this year.
Sadly, when she returned to the UK, and went for a doctor appointment, no heartbeat could be found for the baby, but her hormone levels were normal. Her doctor ordered more tests to find out what was going on.
Price added, “I went in thinking, ‘He’s going to be great, he’s going to see a heartbeat.’ And it was on the screen and you know they poke the thing around, he said, ‘No, it’s, it’s died, it’s gone.’” Katie had a D&C just six days before she ran the London marathon.
Now that the couple are separated, Peter is upset that his estranged wife chose to speak out about her miscarriage and issued a statement through his rep:
“It was Peter’s child as well and Peter is devastated and deeply disappointed that Kate has chosen to speak out about this and their marriage. It is a private matter.”
Can these two, if they are not going to work it out, at least try to have an amicable split for the sake of their children?
Let’s hope they can!
