For kids that were raised by Michael Jackson and spent much of their time wearing masks to hide from the paparazzi, those close to the family say that MJ’s kids are shockingly normal.

During the recent controversy over Paris Jackson’s memorial speech, it was assumed that she, along with her brothers Prince Michael and Blanket were all seriously damaged goods.

I mean, how could they not be? The were raised by a man who named them all after himself (Prince Michael Jackson, 12, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, 11, and Prince Michael Jackson II, 7).

Well, here’s some good news: they’re really smart, generally happy kids, apparently.

According to Jackson’s financial adviser Al Malnik:

“Those kids are exceptionally bright. They really have the capacity and understanding…”

“They are going to grow up in the limelight,” said Al Malnik, a former Jackson financial adviser and friend, “but I think because they way that Michael has brought them up and that they have the capacity to deal with it.”

Offering more supporting evidence is family friend Al Sharpton:

“The kids are at the compound,” said Sharpton of the Jacksons’ Encino, Calif., home. “The days that I was there, they would play with their cousins and were very familiar with them and their aunts and uncles. … That’s the only family they knew.”

“The family is much closer than one wanted to perceive,” said Sharpton, who acknowledged that Paris’ speech was spontaneous. “People far overestimate and embellish any perceived differences in that family.”

A lot of parents like to see other parents fail to feel better about themselves. That is something I discovered after reading parenthood blogs after I had my son. They are not capable of understanding that nobody is perfect and that maybe they made more mistakes that Michael Jackson as parents. He is just in front of the cameras so people can see many wrong things he did (or that the media said he did) but at the same time there were a lot of good things we did not see.

i hope when the kids grow up they dont get attacked by the media like michael did. too many lies were said about michael and they were pretty damn vicious. the media is sickening
