Steve McNair Death: Who Was Sahel Kazemi? (PHOTOS)
What exactly was the relationship between the young woman found dead with NFL quarterback Steve McNair? Fellow co-workers of Sahel Kazemi are claiming the 20-year-old was having an affair with McNair, which started several months ago.
McNair was found by his friend Wayne Neeley – the two men rented the condo together – with multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head. McNair’s reported lover, Sahel Kazemi was found dead with a single gunshot wound, and a gun laying next to her body. Police have now ruled McNair’s death a homicide.

Sahel’s ex-boyfriend, Keith Norfleet, said Steve met her several months ago at Dave & Busters, a restaurant that Kazemi worked as a waitress. It was also the place that the football player and his wife Mechelle would frequent, according to employees.
An employee of the restaurant said that McNair and Kazemi “met there months ago,” and he is under the impression that the two had been in a relationship “for about six to eight months.”
And just two days before their deaths, McNair and Kazemi were pulled over for suspicion of DUI. Sahel was driving a 2007 Cadillac Escalade registered to both her and McNair. She was arrested and McNair was free to leave the scene in a taxi.
The two vacationed together about 3 months ago.
Was this a love-triangle gone bad? Perhaps the young woman wanted Steve to leave his wife and children and commit to her, and when he said that would never happen, she snapped?
McNair’s oldest brother Fred, spoke with the AP and said their family will travel to Nashville to be with Mechelle and the kids.
The older McNair said, “It’s still kind of hard to believe. He was the greatest person in the world. He gave back to the community. He loved kids and he wanted to be a role model to kids.” Fred admitted he did not know what the details of his brother’s relationship with Sahel.
I’m thinking it doesn’t look good, and wife Mechelle is left to pick up the pieces with her children.
