Line-up Released for Michael Jackson Memorial Ceremony (Video)
As you might expect, MJ’s memorial service tomorrow will be a star-studded spectacle on par with any major media event in history, sprinkled with performances by many of pop’s biggest celebrities like Mariah Carey and John Mayer.
The complete lists of performers actors speakers and singers is as follows:
- Ron Boyd (family friend)
- Kobe Bryant
- Mariah Carey
- Andrae Crouch Choir
- Berry Gordy
- Jennifer Hudson
- Shaheen Jafargholi (finalist on Britain’s Got Talent)
- Magic Johnson
- Martin Luther King III
- Bernice A. King
- John Mayer
- Lionel Richie
- Smokey Robinson
- Rev. Al Sharpton
- Brooke Shields
- Pastor Lucious Smith (family friend)
- Usher
- Stevie Wonder.
I wasn’t planning to be among the expected 3 billion viewers watching the event, but now that I see that Stevie and Smokey Robinson are going to take part, I might have to tune in.
