This is straight off of Nashville News 5.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Former Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been killed. Police said McNair suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville.

The incident happened near 2nd South & Lea Ave. Police said it looked like a double homicide. A female victim was also found dead.

McNair was 36 and played 13 seasons in the NFL, most of them with the Tennessee Titans/Oilers. Steve McNair is survived by son Steve, Jr. a high school senior.

Holy Crap! What is going on? We will have more news for you as it comes.

*Update* It may be a Murder-Suicide

I supported many Nashville Sports enthusics in the beginning after living here All my life and being an avid sports fan believed that
Nashville would support a National sports arena So Sorry to lose
a very great Quarterback and FRIEND of Nashville He really helped a
lot of young people as well as those in Need..Ms Bergie Grodecki
PS I grew up with a brother and really have always loved all SPORts
So sorry for his Family and Friends
