Billy Mays Funeral: Son Says He Was Loved
“Oxiclean” and “Orange Glo” TV pitchman Billy Mays, passed away at the age of 50, on June 28 in his Tampa, Florida home. It’s believed he died from complications from heart disease. Mays was laid to rest earlier today, Friday, July 3.

Billy Mays funeral way held today at St. Mary Church in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. A private burial was held after the ceremony. A viewing was held for Mays last night.WTAE reported.
Billy Mays son, Billy Mays III said “In the last few days, I’ve been trying to talk to every fan, take every story I could get and give every story I could. I want to make sure we get through this. He was loved. He still is loved,”Â
After the funeral Billy Mays III tweeted “Service was nice. My dad got a standing ovation in a catholic church. Lol.”
Billy Mays III has received an outpouring of support on Twitter. If you read his tweets, your heart will break, but you will marvel at his strength and courage his is showing. Billi Mays III even used his Dad’s Twitter account to reach out to fans. When Billy Mays Twitter following has grown enormously since his death. His son said he got a kick out of Twitter and that people were even interested in him.
