Kate Gosselin’s New Book On The Back Burner
Kate Gosselins new book Love is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories, will most likely not debut in November as scheduled due to recent events with the reality TV mom filing for divorce.
Although Gosselin’s book is still advertised as a November release date, Zondervan Publishing House CEO Maureen “Moe” Girkins said they will “work with Kate to reassess the schedule for her next book” since filing for divorce from Jon.
Girkin told USA Today, “We are saddened by this news from the Gosselins and will continue to lift both Jon and Kate and their children up in prayer. We respect their need for time to focus on their family during this difficult time.”
The book is labeled as “an inside look at one of America’s most close-knit families,” which doesn’t seem fitting at this time, does it? Yes, obviously Jon and Kate’s love for their children will never change, but the “tight-knit” family label probably won’t sell to a lot of people because of all that has happened.
Hopefully, the book can be marketed in such a way that Kate can have success with it. She’s going to be a single mom of eight and needs an income!
Kate has had previous book success with Multiple Blessings: Surviving to Thriving with Twins and Sextuplets, and photo book Eight Little Faces.
Jon and Kate have decided to remain silent now on all private matters because they want to focus on their family.

While she has a bunch more money than I did when I was a single mother – raising kids alone isn’t just about the money. There is a lot of emotional support that is lost when you no longer have your spouse at your side. Mom’s and family are important but they can’t fill in the lonliness, or being able to cry on the shoulder of the one you love, or sharing the thoughts and feelins of raising children. There are no pats on the back when you do someting right but everyone remembers when you do something bad. Such is life.
