Not very many people arrive at a red carpet movie premiere in a pink strech Hummer with a troupe of half naked male dancers in tow… except for maybe a gay Austrian fashion designer named Bruno… OR, a really ambitious Bruno imposter!

That’s right, an Australian Bruno lookalike just pulled one over on the crowd lined up to watch Sascha Baron Cohen’s latest flick. The dude marched his homoerotic Hummer parade up to the Sydney State Theatre, where he jumped out and addressed the crowd with a megaphone while dancers poured tomato sauce on themselves.

Apparently, it took a few minutes for the security guards to realize that the man was an imposter and physically removed the pranksters. It may not have been quite as impressive as assaulting Eminem at the MTV Movie Awards, but this guy didn’t have nearly as many co-conspirators.

The real Bruno (I guess you can call him real) showed up just a few minutes later dressed in shining armor and gave a speech of his own.

I watched Sascha Baron Cohen on the Tonight Show with Conan last week. After his interview and subsequent humping of Conan’s face, I really had to wonder what he and fiance Isla Fisher tell their daughter Olive.

Does they just pretend that Bruno is a totally different guy? Or does they let her in on Sascha’s hilarious guerilla comedy stunts?

I would probably just try to avoid the conversation until she’s like 25 or so.
