Johnny Depp and His Big Tip

Hey, did you know Johnny Depp’s got a big tip in his pocket? Get your mind out of the gutter – I’m talking about the $4000 gratuity the actor left a waiter at a restaurant in Chicago.
Mohammed A. Sekhani, a veteran waiter at Chicago’s legendary steakhouse Gibsons, says he’s waited on Depp before and appreciates the actor’s humble ways. “Johnny and his party arrived just after 11.30pm at the restaurant and requested a private room,” Sekhani tells RadarOnline. “Because he had visited us before he calls me ‘Mo’ and I know exactly the way he likes to be treated. He may be one of the most famous actors in the world but he is a very humble guy and a really cool dude.
“Obviously, I was delighted with his tip but he has always been very generous every time that he has visited us here at Gibsons.”
Depp’s family wasn’t with him at the dinner – it was apparently a business affair – but I think he’s setting a good example for his kids in showing gratitude. This way, they won’t read about their dad in some tabloid where the headline screams, “Johnny Depp Stiffed Me.” That could really be confusing for a kid.
