For most celebs, the paparazzi exist as sort of a necessary evil that one must endure as the price of fame. Not for Jerry O’connell, he puts them to work babysitting his 7 month-old daughters!

The paps caught up with him after a run through Topanga Canyon, and as he was getting into the car, he entrusted one of the TMZ dudes with the safety of his twin daughters.

“Hey TMZ, hold this. Make sure it doesn’t roll. Come on, I’m putting you in charge of my children.”

The he walks around to the other side of the car and loads up his dog… Hilarious.

The TMZ guys didn’t do too bad of a job babysitting, but I doubt Rebecca Romijn will be too impressed with his parenting tactics when she sees this video.

That’s not to say that the paparazzi aren’t trustworthy, but I don’t think I’d trust my kids with anybody I didn’t know personally … except of course, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Aniston, Rachel Ray, Angelina Jolie or Oprah.
