Good news parents: It’s okay to have Megan Fox around your kids. Just because she snubbed a little boy who was desperately trying to hand the Transformers star a rose doesn’t mean she doesn’t like the little ones. Fox says it was all just a misunderstanding. What a relief for all those dads out there who were thinking of calling Megan to come over and babysit.

After she saw the photo Fox told Collider.com, “I feel so sad for him. That’s so terrible. That kills me.” The actress says she didn’t know that it was a child handing her the flower. “There were, like, 80 million people everywhere. It’s dark, all I see are flashes,” she says. “Everyone’s yelling different things … and I didn’t know that was happening.”

But she says she’d like to make it up her young fan, and even issued him a personal apology. “If you know his name, I will send him a personal apology,” she says. “I’m horrified. I would never do that.

“I’m sorry, sweet boy,” she says. “I would never do that to you, and I would gladly accept your rose if I see you again.”
