Jon & Kate - Wait Until August To See Us Fall Apart

So because TLC pushed up the divorce announcement of Jon and Kate Gosselin, the show has to go on hiatus until August. Why? They don’t have anything new to show the viewer, or at least anything relevant that the average watcher wants to see.

I guess the public wants to see Jon getting a new apartment in New York, and how the couple is going to deal with the shared custody of the kids. Again, I totally “forgot” to watch the show last night, but with all the information leading up to the show and reading everybody’s opinion on the split, I see the public wants to get down to the nitty gritty.

What will we all do on Monday nights now that we don’t have Jon & Kate to watch? Will we wonder what’s going on for the next month and a half?

The halt in the show was announced from the network. Does that mean Jon & Kate were down with filming through this rough time? If that’s what the episodes are going to be about in August, then I have lost what little shred of respect I might have for them as parents.

P.S. I do have a question though. Are Jon & Kate going to switch off on the apartment in New York? They say they are going to trade off on the kids, but if Jon gets a one bedroom, it’s going to be a little rough.

P.S.S. Is this all a set-up, they are going to go to counseling and then at the end of the season they are going to get back together, miraculously. That would be a perfect segue into season 6, wouldn’t it?
