Jon & Kate Haven’t Lived Together In 2 Years?
Kate Gosselin said in her divorce papers that she and Jon have been living apart for two years. That’s crazy! They’ve been lying to the public for two years. Oh, they’re in so much trouble.
She also states that her marriage is “irretrievably broken.” That’s actually pretty sad.
The things worth fighting for - the kids - are easily divided as they are going to trade off time with the kids. It’s the material possessions that they can’t figure out how to split.
I can’t believe they lied for two years to the public. That actually makes me a little sick. They faked it for money. Is putting your family through all the rigmarole of a fake relationship for money worth the price you have to pay for it?
Will there be a public backlash for the lies?

So I guess they haven’t been living apart for two years. But Kate checked the box on the divorce papers stating that just in case Jon doesn’t believe the marriage is irretrievable. So either way, she’s going to make the divorce happen because that’s what she wants and she’s a, “I get what I want” kind of girl.
I don’t know if that’s better or worse. Yes, it’s good that they haven’t been lying for two years, but wow, she’s really thinking there isn’t she?

commented on In PA you can state that you were living “apart” from your spouse even if you resided in the same household, as long as you maintained separate bedrooms during that time period. So it may be not a “lie” just a faster way of getting a divorce. Honestly what I cannot understand is why there is so much hate towards Kate. Ok, she wants a divorce and wants one fast. So what? Wouldn’t it be worse if their divorce was drawn out for another 2 years?
