The End Of Jon & Kate: They Will Take Turns With Kids
Jon and Kate Gosselin’s “announcement” was sort of anticlimactic since we have been hearing divorce rumors for weeks, but maybe they can now concentrate on their kids and do what’s best for them.
Jon and Kate had decided to separate, and possibly try to work it out, as we told you earlier, but they have now filed for divorce. They will do what most couples do when faced with this sort of decision: map out a schedule for them to each spend time with their children.
They are in agreement that the kids shouldn’t have to be moved to and from, so Kate will stay in their home with the children and when it’s Jon’s turn with the kids, he will go to their house, and Kate will leave.
Kate said, “Jon will also come here when it is his days, and we will flip-flop that way.”
They want to kids to be as protected in the split as possible. No matter how much they plan though, it’s going to be difficult for the little ones. Hopefully, in time, they can all find peace. Although Kate isn’t fond of the idea of separating, she added, “My goal is peace. If peace needs to be brought about by this, then I’m in agreement.”
Good luck to the family, divorce is never easy, but Jon and Kate both said they hope to at least get back to being “friends” so they can give their kids the best of themselves.
