Break out the top 10 list of worst movie ideas ever, because we’ve got a smokin’ hot new edition. Britney Spears has reportedly been offered a lead role in a movie called The Yellow Star of Sophia and Eaton, set in a Nazi concentration camp.

OK, it’s not simply a Holocaust movie. It’s actually a movie about time traveling lovers who travel back to Nazi Germany, or something brilliant like that.

Somewhere in between performing on her Circus Tour and sightseeing with her boys, Britney (or, more likely her agent) are looking over the script. It really sounds like a doozy. From the National Ledger:

“If she accepts the role, Britney will reportedly play the main role of Sophia LaMont, who creates a time machine and travels back to World War II where she meets a Jewish man called Eton at a concentration camp.

They then fall in love and travel back to the present day with the intention of getting married but they are both killed by Nazis. Britney appeared in the 2002 film Crossroads, but the film was panned by critics.”
