Jon Gosselin & Sarah Palin: Secret Whisperings?
Does Jon Gosselin have a certain someone, namely Alaska governor Sarah Palin, whispering advice into his ear? That was the word on the street…
Rumor was, Palin was giving the TV dad from Jon & Kate Plus 8 some advice because she felt sorry for him and all the unwanted media attention he’s been receiving since having an (alleged) affair with Deanna Hummel, 23.
A pal said, “He was quite shocked,” about Sarah calling. The friend said Palin urged Gosselin to seek redemption in Jesus and counseled him on finding ways to keep this family together.
Although I’m sure Sarah might have some empathy for the Gosselins because of the tabloid reports they have to face on a daily basis, much like she and her family have faced, there is no truth to the phone calls, according to the Governor’s rep, Meghan Stapleton.
She tells Us Magazine, “For many months now, false and misleading stories and entire fabrications about the Governor’s record and the Palin family have made it into mainstream publications.”
Stapleton added, “There have been many falsehoods and distortions regarding a range of topics, from the status of Alaska’s natural gas pipeline and the Governor’s restructuring of the state’s oil taxes to sick and disgusting personal insinuations about Trig’s identity, alleged fake sex videos, doctored photos, and even contrived stories about conversations with members of the Gosselin family.
“It is all so very unfortunate. We can do better. We can and should focus on real issues, not fabricated issues.”
There you have it – although Sarah is a mom of many kids, just as Jon is a dad to a big family, she apparently had no advice to offer the man. I guess he’s on his own to figure out the best way to salvage his marriage and family life – if he wants to.
