Crazy Protesters Call Letterman’s Son “Bastard” (Video)
If you haven’t seen any video footage of the “Fire David Letterman” rally, do yourself a favor and check it out below. If you’re anything like me, the profound insights shared by some protesters will give you the strength to get through the morning.
The rally, intended to force CBS to can David Letterman for making jokes about Sarah Palin’s 14 year-old daughter Willow, looks pretty sparsely attended in the video.
Perhaps the low attendance caused demonstrators to go extra loco. Maybe they just woke up on the wrong side of the bed? Who knows? Whatever the reason, things got pretty ugly.
As was captured on the video, you probably noticed that numerous interviewees (defending American decency) went after David Letterman’s 6 year-old son, Harry. All insinuating, or just flat out calling him a “bastard.” And I don’t mean a basterd like Brad Pitt. Real classy, people.
There are numerous highlights to this great moment in documentary filmmaking here, like one woman not knowing the difference between baseball and basketball, and another mistakenly slamming Dave for having a daughter out of wedlock.
The greatest hit, by a long shot, has to be the woman at the 1:44 mark, who says:
“Keep children safe from David Letterman’s mouth. He will rape them with his mouth. He is a child abuser. He is a verbal pedophile.”
