No Jail Time For Vandal Jessica Alba
Fortunately, Honor Marie Warren will never have to know what it’s like to have a mother locked up in the slammer. That’s because no charges have been filed in response to her mother’s bizarre guerrilla poster attack in OKC. Case closed.
Apparently, even though Alba defaced half of picturesque Oklahoma City with her shark posters (including a United Way billboard), no one in the town wants to press charges. From E! Online:
“Jessica Alba will not face any criminal charges for plastering shark posters all over Oklahoma City on behalf of a conservation group.
“The decision has been made to close the case,” police Sgt. Gary Knight says in a statement. “The case will not be presented to the district attorney’s office…”
The 28-year-old Fantastic Four star could have faced a felony vandalism charge and possible jail time over the incident, but the property owners targeted by Alba and pals declined to press charges. As a result, Knight says there’s no reason to pursue the case.”
See folks, justice is completely blind… especially when it comes to not prosecuting weathy Hollywood celebrities.
Maybe it was just that everyone knows that her heart is in the right place? She just wants to make sure there are enough great white sharks in the sea to make the world a dangerous place for Honor and her grandchildren. What’s wrong with that?
Remember that guy in PeeWee’s Big Adventure that had done hard time for ripping those tags off the mattresses? I don’t know why I bring that up here. It just seemed vaguely relevant.

John Kiger commented on Jun 30 09 at 3:52 pmMost people think all sharks are huge and dangerous to man. There are more than 360 different kinds of sharks and only about 25 kinds have attacked man. The four most dangerous kinds of sharks are the Great White, the Tiger, the Oceanic White Tip, and the Bull Shark. Of all sharks, half are less than three feet long and two thirds are less than six feet long. It is very important to remember that with all the millions of sharks and people in the water, there are less than 100 attacks a year and less than 30 deaths a year from sharks. So to make a comment as uninformed as “She just wants to make sure there are enough great white sharks in the sea to make the world a dangerous place for Honor and her grandchildren. What’s wrong with that?” is a complete lack of justice for your readers. Now I do agree that Jessica Alba should be held liable for her actions and that the justice system is not blind but favors the famous is true, however, to blindly defame sharks should be beneath you. I would highly recommend actually doing some research on the subject of how “dangerous” sharks really are.. especially since you are at more risk from toasting bread or walking outside only to be struck by lightning or even opening your front door than you are from a shark. The numbers and facts are there and it is a shame you have not took the time to find out when doing an article like this…
