Kings Prefer Blondes
Legendary TV royalty Larry King caught a lot of flack recently when he confused his bleach blond, new mom singers. How dare he?
It seems that King approached Gwen Stefani and asked her for an autograph for his son. Gwen was happy to do it.
Turns out Larry thought he was talking to Christina Aguilera and after reading the autograph he proceeded to tell her so.
I don’t think the mistake is that big of a deal. They, meaning the ladies, do have a lot in common and Larry King is about 5 minutes older than dirt, however, I can’t believe he wasn’t able to cover his mistake with some slight of hand or cut to commercial.
I guess setting up a playdate was out of the question.
