Beyoncé and Jay Z may have been married for over a year, but don’t expect them to start a family anytime soon. Well, there’s one baby bump rumor I can cross off my list.

The couple says that while having a baby is definitely in their future (that would be destiny’s child. Sorry, I had to fit that joke in here somewhere) for now their career is their main focus. “We got to keep it moving. Got bills to pay,” Jay Z said in a recent interview. And Beyoncé agrees. “I definitely want one (a child) but I’m not ready for all that.  I don’t think a person should see that before their time.”

I have to say Beyoncé and Jay Z are one couple who seem to be doing things right. They’ve always been careful to keep their relationship private and out of the spotlight, even keeping their marriage under wraps for months before Beyoncé even revealed her ring. Now, they’re taking their time starting a family until the time is right. How un-Hollywood. How refreshing.
