Tori Spelling Feels Bad For Jon & Kate Gosselin

Actress and reality TV star Tori Spelling, knows a thing or two about being in the public eye and scrutinized for everything done and said.  So, she can certainly empathize with Jon and Kate Gosselin of Jon & Kate Plus 8 and all that they are going through.

Tori spoke with Mario Lopez from Extra and admits she was a huge fan of the Gosselin’s show but now “it seems to have gone to an odd place.”  Ya, that’s an understatement!

Spelling said, “I loved the fact that they were a normal family; they weren’t in Hollywood.  It’s hard for me now to see them on the cover of People magazine… I was like, ‘Wow, I’m not watching a celebrity family on TV.  I’m actually watching a real family, and I want to know what that’s like so I can related to that.’  So now it’s gone to a whole different level, and I feel bad for them.”

The 36-year-old actress had a bit of advice for Jon and Kate.

“I hope they’re prepared for what they are going through and just know that this too shall pass… Next week, it will be someone else on the cover and you can go about your life.  Good luck to them.”

Let’s hope this holds true because the Gosselin kids need to get back to some sort of normalcy and not wonder what’s happening with their parents.  They need to just be kids with no worries!

Tori and husband Dean are busy with their own TV show on Oxygen, Tori & Dean; Home Sweet Hollywood, which airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m.
