In Case You Were Wondering, Ashlee and Pete are OK!

Attention all you Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz devotees: the kids are alright. In case you hadn’t heard, there’s been word that the couple has been having marital problems, and their rep tells OK! magazine that, despite the rumors that you may have not heard, Pete and Ashlee are doing fine. You know, just in case you heard that they were not doing fine.
In fact, the magazine even has a quote, in case you didn’t believe them. “Contrary to any reports, the marriage is not in trouble,” Pete and Ashlee’s rep tells OK!. “Ashlee and Pete love one another, love being a family and are in a stable, happy marriage.”
This should bring some small measure of comfort to Pete and Ashlee’s son Bronx, who I think has been wondering not only if their parents are still together, but why those damn reporters from OK! are always hanging around.
Ever wonder if OK! maybe cooked up the rumor in the first place so that they could then bring you the news that it wasn’t true? Just throwing that out there, in case you were wondering.
