Happy Birthday Sasha Obama!

President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama’s youngest daughter is turning 8-years-old today (June 10)! She was born Natasha but is often called by her nickname Sasha, and has one older sister, Malia, 10.
Sasha and her sister attend Sidwell Friends School and live at the White House after dad Barack became president on January 20, 2009.
The Obamas spent last weekend in Paris, where Sasha celebrated her birthday a few days early. She went shopping at children’s store Bonpoint and saw the sights of Paris!
Happy Birthday Sasha, hope your day is special!
*Note* Sasha’s birthday has been reported as June 7th, and 8th, however, it’s believed June 10th is correct, based on a 10 June 2008 blog post by Washington Post reporter Howard Kurtz, in which he quotes Obama as telling a hospital patient’s mother that “today is the 7th birthday of his daughter Sasha.”
