Happy (Belated) Birthday, Angelina Jolie!

Somehow I forgot about Angelina Jolie’s birthday yesterday.  Which surprises me, because there it is on my To Do list, right above ’shave legs’ and ‘berate husband.’  Sorry, Angie, but if it’s any consolation my legs still look like the Black Forest.

The woman at the top of the Forbes’ Celebrity 100 List turned 34 yesterday, and you can bet she hasn’t spent the past few years just sitting on the couch eating tater tots. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.  And in my defense they were lowfat and baked, not fried.) No, Angelina has been busy adopting three children, giving birth to three more, snagging Brad Pitt as her husband, starring in blockbuster movies, winning an Oscar, and working for numerous charities.  And she spent her birthday week filming her new movie Salt and recovering from an on-set injury.

Do you feel like a slacker yet?  I thought so.

Happy Birthday Angelina!  Now, go sit on the couch and let the kids serve you some tater tots so the rest of us don’t look so bad.
