Ashlee Simpson Flips Out On Pete’s Ex
How many drinks does it take for Ashlee Simpson to go from baby pictures to picking a drunken catfight? Pete Wentz found out Monday night.
Pete and Ashlee left Bronx at home and hit up the ‘DJ Hero’ party at the Wiltern Theater on Monday. When they got there, they found out that planners had goofed and accidentally sat them in front of Pete’s ex girlfriend Michelle Trachtenberg.
That was the beginning of the end… Apparently, things started out smooth, but started going down hill as Ashlee got lost in the sauce.

“Pete and Ashlee had a pleasant conversation with Michelle and her boyfriend for close to 20 minutes.” Simpson even showed Trachtenberg some baby pictures of her little boy…
“As the evening went on and Ashlee started to get sloppier, things got out of control,” one stunned partygoer tells us.
The crescendo of the night occurred when an increasingly loud and obnoxious Simpson began to give Wentz a lap dance. “She was staring directly at Michelle and starting hurling insults at her,” a source tells us. “She was grinding up on Pete like a stripper. It was actually pretty disgusting!”
… As Simpson proceeded to get louder and in Trachtenberg’s face, Mark Hoppus’s wife had to drag Asslee away to avoid her physically assaulting Michelle, we’re told.
Looks like Ashlee might have become a lightweight after months of not drinking during her pregnancy. Or, maybe motherhood is just really putting her on edge. Whatever the reason, maybe Ashlee should just pass on the booze for a while.
Wonder why Pete didn’t step in. Was he paralyzed by awkwardness of not knowing how to handle a girl fight?
