Sad, It’s Over For Katie
Katie has come to realize there is no saving her marriage. The divorce will most likely be quite fast - completed in about six weeks.
Katie Price - or Jordan, as she’s often called - has given up the fight to save her marriage to estranged husband Peter Andre. She’s agreed to a quickie divorce.
A friend said, “This has been a landmark couple of days for Katie. It’s sad, but she’s given up the fight.
“She now accepts she’s never getting Peter back and is ready to move on with her life. It hasn’t been easy but she knows it’s necessary to enable her to eventually get on with things.
“The last five days have completely changed her frame of mind. She’s gone from refusing to consider the possibility of divorce to agreeing it’s a necessity.
“She doesn’t want it dragging on and has decided that if this is what Peter really wants then that’s what he’s going to get.
“It’s still incredibly emotional for her and she feels under constant attack but she knows this is what has to happen.”
“Peter,” added the source, “has been more emotional this week than at at any time so far. The reality has kicked in and as a result he’s hit rock bottom.
“I’ve never seen him like this before. He’s a mess. The meetings with the lawyers hit him really hard. He came out afterward and just broke down.
“It was the utter realization that his family life is never going to be the same. Everything he held so dear is now gone.”
How sad for them but also for their three children (two together and Jordan’s son Harvey from her previous relationship). Let’s hope they at least make this amicable for the sake of those precious kids!
