The newest Bugaboo Bee 2010 stroller is out and we have one with your name on it!!
We’re sure most of you have heard of Bugaboo, what with the mommy-group hype and numerous accolades (including a spot on our Babble Best: Lightweight Strollers last year). We were skeptical that the newest Bee would live up to the buzz and be worthy of a hefty $650 price tag, so we discerningly took it for a test drive. After a trip to a gravel-path zoo, through a grassy park, and over broken-up sidewalks, we can say whole-heartedly that there’s a reason for the Bugaboo love — mainly for those with an on-the-go lifestyle needing a compact, nimble design.
If you’re looking for a more maneuverable stroller (say for crowded and cracked city streets), the responsive and buttery smooth ride is unmatched — much like getting behind the wheel of an out-of-my-league luxury car that seems to float on air. Besides that, the features are quite impressive for such a light, compact stroller: a reversible seat allowing the baby to face front or back; an attachable newborn seat; an extendable handle; and a large, effective sun canopy and rain protector. The drawbacks: No cup holders (which can be a serious bummer) or snack tray, and the storage isn’t bad but isn’t great. If you need to fit in tight spaces and over rough terrain, it just might be worth the dough. And the good news: Babble is giving one away free.
To be our winner, simply shoot us an Email at babblecontest@gmail.com with the subject line BUGABOO BEE. Include your mailing address and a short statement on why a Bee would help you out.  A winner will be picked on Tuesday, May 4.
If you just can’t wait, find a local retailer at bugaboo.com.
