We first buzzed about this back in January, but here’s an update: Starting today, Wii owners throughout North America can get an old-school handle on their favorite games using the new Classic Controller Pro for Wii. Available in black (above) or white, the ergonomically designed controller plugs into your Wii Remote and offers off-the-shelf compatibility with over 460 Wii, WiiWare and Virtual Console games. You can put the Classic Controller Pro’s dual trigger buttons to work in the new Capcom game Monster Hunter Tri, which comes bundled with a black Classic Controller Pro for $59.99. The game is a wee bit scary, though, so if monsters aren’t your family’s thing, pick up one or more of the standalone controllers for $19.99 each. [Nintendo]
