A stroller and changing table in one: The Abiie G2G BabyDeck Stroller

I think we’ve all been on outings where finding a nearest changing table was difficult — and  a sanitary one nearly impossible. When the recently launched Abiie’s G2G BabyDeck stroller came across my desk, claiming to morph into a changing table, my questions were 1. Does this really work?; 2. How difficult is it?; and 3. Is the stroller good enough on its own? After taking it for a test drive, I have some answers.

The way it works is the front handle bar of the stroller swings open and the seat folds down into a hard-backed, waterproof changing “table” that is BPA, PVC and phthalate-free. I was able to successfully open it with one hand and change my 1-year-old, which was the perfect size for him with room to spare.

As for the stroller itself, because the underside of the seat is hard (and has a secret compartment under the pad, perfect for holding a few diapers and wipes), the actual cushion is extra thick and comfy to compensate. To be honest, there isn’t a feature on it I don’t love: The snack tray and cup holder, extra large sun canopy and roomy storage are all great. Granted, it’s not as lightweight as my umbrella stroller, but it’s so much more useful. Even without the changing table feature, it’s a pretty awesome stroller.

To top it off, it’s compatible with most infant seat, such as the Graco SafeSeat and Snugride, BabyTrend Flex Loc, Britax Chaperone and Chicco KeyFit.
