Little People Farm: Fabulous at 50

Over the holidays, I spent some time at my aunt’s house and watched my kid and his cousins bicker about who got to play with the vintage Little People playsets. It reminded me of when I was little and my cousins and I used to bicker about playing with those same toys. (For what it’s worth: my cousins usually won.)

The vintage toys were such a hit that I was inspired to check out the Little People 50th Anniversary playsets to try to score some vintage-looking Little People for home. My favorite: the Little People Farm, which comes in a cool retro lunchbox and features a hands-free farmer who rides an old-school tractor. The farmer is accompanied by a cow and a sheep.

Recently, I hung out with a childhood friend and her son, and I watched her turn a little green with envy upon seeing the retro farm. Then our kids bickered about who got to play with the farm. I think that means they liked it.
