Sony’s Playstation 3 is a living room multi-tasker. It plays games, has an online network of content to view, and can play Blu-Ray movies. But to do all this stuff – even watch Blu-Ray movies, you need to use a PS3 controller. It seems like not that big of a deal at the outset, it can be pretty annoying to not be able to use your universal remote on a critical piece of your home entertainment setup.
The Media Hub Slim for PS3 from Nyko solves this problem by giving you an IR receiver as well as a total of four USB ports (all where just two USB ports used to be). It also comes with a 15 button remote control.
Media Hub Slim for the PS3 Slim will be available in April of 2010 and cost $24.99. Nyko.com
