Suck The Snot Right Outta Them

Suck The Snot Right Outta Them

This is not the first time we’ve mentioned the NoseFrida Nasal Aspirator on Droolicious. Every year we just need to bring it to your attention. After all, nobody wants baby to have a stuffy, runny, icky nose.

When you first look at the product you notice the tube and the device. I first thought the tube plugged into some type of motorized thingamabob. Little did I know, it plugs into your mouth. That’s right! You actually suck the snot out of your baby’s nose with your mouth. You have nothing to fear because it has a handy filter to keep the snot and germs out of your mouth. Nice touch, right? At least you don’t have to worry about the batteries running low.

It seems the Swedes swear by this thing. Find it at Target for $15 and let the snotsucking begin! (Gross.) And if you’ve used this device, PLEASE leave a comment about your experience.

My husband bought a modern battery operated nasal aspirator at babies”R”us: CLEANOZ.
This snot sucker is quick, very easy to use and 100% hygienic. It uses disposable tips so there is no cleanup necessary afterwards and no cross contamination risk! This aspirator is a must. I use it with Cleanoz Saline Preservative Free in single use applicators. ( drugstore.com; Amzon.com…).

I have something similar and it works great! As for the NoseFrida, I know Dr. Sears endorses it as well…

what’s wrong with the green aspirator(surgical/hospital grade) you get to take home from the hospital, they work great, it’s free, and better than the mini bulbs you can buy in the stores

Nosefrida rocks! Much better than those nasty bulbs, I don’t care if they give them out for free..they don’t work! Got mine at Whole Foods but they have them in lots of stores now.

bikerdad: this is SO much better than the nasal aspirators that the hospital sends home with you. you’re right, they work just fine but these work soooooo much better. i have 3 young children & will never look back. i gift these to everyone i know that is having a baby. i never would have bought it for myself but am so SO thankful that it was gifted to me. seriously. it’s the best $15 you’ll ever spend! like they say .. you gotta try it before you say you don’t like it. :)
