Bestseller on Amazon & My Fave: Acceptable Baby Jail

North States Superyard It looks horrible if you don’t have kids. Why would any parent choose to put their sweet little baby in jail? Trapped like an animal! Riddle me this. If it’s so awful, why has it spent 1,119 days in the Top 100 Baby Products on Amazon?

I own this North States SuperyardXT Gate Play Yard and I seriously think it’s one of the best baby products I’ve ever had. (Commence ridiculing now.) I originally purchased it when my first child was crawling around. I would not stick him in it for long amounts of time, but it was very useful when we needed it. It kept him safe and contained. He hated the playpen, but loved this gate. When traveled with it when we went to homes that weren’t totally child-safe.

It’s easy to fold and store, it’s roomy enough and not totally horrible to look at. Find it at Amazon for $59.

VERSATILE — we got something like this as a hand-me-down. Several panels are surrounding the TV (and blocking the cord), and a few others are blocking parts of the stairs that are big enough for baby to fit through. Friends of ours used it around their Christmas tree.

We had part of ours around the Christmas tree too. Not the most attractive, but it kept our toddler out of harm’s way (and kept the tree safe too!) It’s easy to set up, break apart & configure, and it’s really useful for keeping curious babies contained and safe.
