Do you wish you could prevent messy, sticky fingers when your kids eat ice cream or candy on-the -go? When I first saw the package, I thought it was silly. No child will keep these on! But after an outing with three toddlers and numerous public bathroom stops, I was not only grateful to have these handy mitts in my bag, but surprised at how well received they were. No complaints, no questions asked. I think that because they’re so thin, the mittens weren’t really in the way. Plus, all I had to do was say that the bathrooms were “icky,” and the kids came out of the stall with their hands in the air, laughing, saying “Ewww.” Hey, it’s better than having kids that stick their hands in any old toilet.

I don’t know, this seems awfully wasteful. I can relate to the desire to keep hands out of icky places (my 2.5 y/o is always into everything in public bathrooms!) but I think plain old soap and water or hand sanitizer is the more cost-effective and environmentally friendly way to go.

Hi…I am the inventor of the Gotta Go Mitts and mom of 3 boys. The mitts are not just for “Germaphobes”. Moms and Dads don’t touch public toilet seats and urinals…why should your kids? It isn’t always easy to wash little squirmy tot’s hands properly when you are juggling purses, bags and other children. The mitts take care of the “Ewwww…” factor of wet unsanitary public toilets! It is the perfect solution for kids who want their independence to grab the toilet seat for balance, touch the flush lever and for little boys…lift the seat!
