File this under: Things I Never Knew I Needed For Postpartum Life.
This feeding, sleeping and diapering log from Glow Baby ($15.99) is a must-have for new parents — Â even the loosey goosey, go-with-the-flow ‘rents. As experienced baby birthers will tell you, most doctors recommend keeping track of feeding times and wet diapers to make sure he/she is eating enough. Plus, seeing it all on paper helps keep breastfeeding (which side did I do last again?) and sleep deprivation (up every hour!) in check. But let’s be honest: New mommy’s don’t have a fully functioning brain, hence the convenience of an all-in-one journal.
Everything you need to record is on one page — for breast- and formula-fed babes — including a place to record notes. It sure beats my method of finding random scraps of paper around the house and piecing them together for doctor visits!
