The Babble Review: Ella’s Kitchen

ella's

I’m a homemade baby food making, nature-loving mother — meaning I’m super particular about what goes into my baby’s body. At the same time, I’m also a working mother — meaning I’m always stretched for time. I make a point to keep packaged baby food on hand, just in case, but I’m that person standing in front of the baby food wall, scrutinizing the ingredients. That’s why I jumped at the chance to taste test Ella’s Kitchen organic baby food, a smash hit in the UK that recently made the leap across the Atlantic.

Created by a Dad trying to feed his kids healthy food that tastes great and looks cool, Ella’s Kitchen uses only pure veggies and fruit — no sugar, salt, preservatives, or even water. Nada. I have to admit that I don’t have a picky eater (yet!) but regardless, he liked every single stage 1 and smoothie variety. Also, the untraditional pouch-like packaging is enticing for kids and extremely convenient on-the-go. I’m sure toddlers can even eat right from the container, no spoon (read: mess) required.

Ella’s Kitchen: I’m a tough baby food critic, and I’m happy to say you passed the test.

Get it at Toys”R”Us.
