How To Take Back Your iPod Mom and Dad

Wish Upon a StarIf you’ve ever plugged your iPod into the stereo to provide tunes for the party – then had to explain away the five Dan Zanes songs and the two from Miley Cyrus, have heart.

You can now take back your iPod.

Full on into princess mode in our house, I decided to give the Disney Mix Lights from Digital Blue a try with my daughter. Their new princess MP3 player was up her alley, and with 2 GB of space, it holds 1,000 of her songs and it will play more off of an SD card (so you can input some of the Disney Mix Clips).

She liked it because the lights on the front flash along with the beat of the song. Oh, the little things . . .

Me? I liked not just freeing up space on my iPod but knowing I didn’t have to hand it over to her anymore. If she loses the Mix Lights, that’s her stuff gone – not mine.

The battery offers 16 hours of play – although the fine print on the back says “rechargeable batteries have a limited number of recharges.” How long that will last only time will tell.

Get it at Toys R Us for $39.99.
