Babble Review: The Playmobil Egyptian Pyramid Playset

I’m not sure who likes this toy more, me or my kid. The Playmobil Egyptian Pyramid Playset, which is being sold exclusively at Toys”R”Us, captivates young and old – like me- with its’ many secrets and ancient historical style.

What secrets does this Pyramid hold? The playset has a rotating door, sliding walls, a collapsible staircase, a hidden chute, a secret treasure chamber, a trapdoor with slide and of course a den of scorpions. Along with four ancient styled Egyptian characters, the set comes with oodles of accessories like ‘gems’, torches and gold hued artifacts. And then there is our favorite piece, the sarcophagus that contains a mummy which in turn houses a skeleton.

The walls of the pyramid are removable for easy access to all its’ wonders. It really does keep those little hands busy. But I should warn you, there is assembly required and there are lots of pieces and stickers (of hieroglythics) to put together. But it’s well worth it and much easier to assemble than the real thing.
