A Book For Flu Season: Felicity Floo Visits The Zoo

I just read a new book appropriate for the flu season. It’s called Felicity Floo Visits the Zoo.

It’s about a little girl named Felicity who goes to the zoo and spreads her germs to all the unsuspecting animals there because she didn’t wash her hands.

The author, ES Redmond, writes the story with flowing rhymes so it’s nice to read out loud. The illustrations are not cutesy, but rather more quirky. This book gives a lesson in keeping children’s hands clean as to not get others sick. It’s not a book I personally would run out and buy. However, if you want to teach a preschooler a lesson in personal hygiene then maybe it’s for you.
