Fun Freebie: Make Your Own Marvel Comic!

Sure, it’s mostly a vehicle to promote the Super Hero Squad cartoon (a current favorite with all three of my boys), but Marvel’s Create Your Own Comic website is surprisingly fun and full-featured for a freebie. Choose your favorite heroes and villains, and create either paneled strips or full-fledged comics that you can print or download as PDFs. You can add backgrounds and random objects — for whatever reason, the site’s thinnest category of stuff — and then punctuate the action with your choice of dialogue and thought bubbles.
