I was born in Akron, Ohio, so these “Made in Ohio” T-shirts and onesies have an especially warm-and-fuzzy meaning for me. There’s actually a literal idea behind the shirts’ design, though: Wire & Twine, the company responsible for ‘em, is based out of the southwestern Ohio town of Oxford. No matter if you and yours were also made in the Buckeye state or you simply want to support a good cause (a portion of profits from sales of the tee go toward the music-based Links organization for needy kids), you’ll have other Buckeyes beaming when you go out and about in these.
$20 from Wire & Twine.

And now, living all the way in BC, I miss a lot about living there. I’m telling my parents about these–they’ll want to get us all these tees for Christmas. (My other sister moved to NC.)
I was at a community gathering here in BC shortly after moving from Ohio, and a guy came up to me and said, “BGSU! I’m from near there! You too?” (I was wearing a BGSU sweatshirt.) Turns out, he was from Toledo.
