Proving that good guys don’t always wear white, Nintendo today announced that it will roll out black versions of its Wii Remote (pictured above) and Wii Nunchuk controllers on Nov. 16.
The new black Wii Remote, which includes a black Wii MotionPlus accessory, will be available at a suggested retail price of $49.99, while the black Wii Nunchuk will sell separately for $19.99. Start making room in those stockings now, kids.
Oh, and to answer the logical question: Yes, Nintendo already sells a black Wii in Japan, making the controllers seem like a logical accessory for that version of the iconic system. For now, the rest of us will have to settle for a study in contrasts. [Nintendo]
